JIS/EGSO

Wednesday, 6 June 2004 at 10:00 GMT, by SiteAdmin

A personal remark first: It has been a long time since I posted on the NEWS - page, but I hope, you don't believe that I've done nothing during this time. I have done some smaller changes and updates of the page, but I didn't think it was worth mentioning them.

But now there are some bigger changes of this webpage. As you can see on the left side, I have added a new page called JIS/EGSO. There you will find the links to the EGSO - initiative and the JIS - initiative respectively AND a listing of all institutes, which have joined so far. I hope this list will grow steadily in the (near) future.

If you haven't received my last emails but are interested in joining the JIS - initiative (http://www.solarJIS.com), please send me an e-mail regarding JIS, since I am also working as a kind of JIS - contact person for all european institutes.

On the other hand I want to ask all those, who have received my emails but didn't respond, to do so - even if you are not interested in a cooperation. It is somewhat disturbing for me not to know, whether you received the mail, or you just forgot to answer it or you are not interested in the JIS project. If you haven't the questionnaire any more, I can resend it. Additionally there exists another set of questions which will be added to the next mail.

Compatibility Problems with NETSCAPE solved

Wednesday, 6 June 2004 at 10:00 GMT, by SiteAdmin

I also tried to improve the compatibility of this webpage for Netscape/Mozilla. You won't see any differences on the page itself, only in the programming code (ALL pages to be exact). This page can be viewed best with : I.E. 6.x and Netscape 7 (same results for Opera and Mozilla/5.0)
