Attention: Calling all National Representatives

Please send the national reports for 2004/2005.
For the first time these will be only published on the JOSO website,
that means there won't be any printed editions.
Accepted file formats: .pdf, .ps, .doc and .txt. Reports in other formats will be rejected. We don't have any specific LaTeX style files.

to present the First Joso Prize to
Mr. Laurent Gizon
The handing-over of the prize for an outstanding paper of a young scientist was carried out in the presence of numerous prominent figures from politics, economy and media during a festive evening-reception for the winner. Read more »

Announcement of the winner of the First JOSO Prize for an Outstanding Paper of a young Scientist.
This Prize will be given in a ceremony at the occasion of the 2nd Central European Solar Physics Meeting on May 19th to
Mr. Laurent Gizon
Laurent Gizon was selected by an international refereeing committee consisting of 6 persons from different fields in solar physics.
The prize was sponsored by the Austrian Saubermacher Company, Mr. Hans Roth.
