Abstracts of contributions:

Please submit your contributions via the Abstract Server (see http://www.astronomy2006.com/).

We call for contributed oral talks and posters. Depending on the number of participants, most contributions will likely be accepted in the category of poster papers.

Please, submit your abstracts as soon as possible but not later than May 31, 2006.

Till June 30, 2006 you will be notified about the status of your submission.

Proceedings:

The Proceedings of all GA-2006 Joint Discussions will be published in the IAU series "Highlights of Astronomy", Volume 14 (Cambridge University Press). The Highlights of Astronomy will be made available electronically and in book form, and can be ordered via the GA-2006 Registration Form.

The contract with CUP stipulates that Highlights of Astronomy will be published six months after GA-2006. CUP needs three months for the production process, leaving the three months right after GA-2006 for the Editors to complete their task. This implies that Joint Discussion Editors have to request from all speakers in their JD to submit their completed manuscripts (both in printed and electronic form) to the Editors at the time of GA-2006.

Further instructions and style-files will be posted at the web page (http://wave.asu.cas.cz/iaujd01/) in due time.
