Laurent Gizon was selected by an international refereeing committee consisting of 6 persons from different fields in solar physics. The prize was sponsored by the Austrian Saubermacher Company, Mr. Hans Roth.

We wish the winner all the best for his further research
and thank the referees for their tremendous work.
